The burner controls should be spaced out more, maybe a quarter inch each. The BOSCH symbol which is silk screened, is cheap & should be replaced with a more substantial label or raised identification.

The burners are quick. The simmer burner is not low enough. Simmer still too hot.

We are extremely pleased with our new Bosch cooktop. We recently bought one of your dishwashers and we're so pleased that we were determined that we were going to buy Bosch products in the future. The stove top is exactly the size we need we like the large burner on the right it's easy to clean and we really like the fact that the flame cannot go out.

We excitedly purchased this cooktop (after loving it in our previous residence). But this is not manufactured with the previous quality (or we have a lemon); After 5 minutes of use, the entire kitchen smells of propane/combustion, and I get an intense headache. A Bosch tech came out and didn't have a resolution for the smell; Yet the Bosch tech appliance manager mentioned on the phone that there have been a lot of complaints recently about much more of a smell coming from the Bosch gas cooktops. In our case the smell is bad enough that my 3 year old won't even enter the kitchen. Note: The previous GE cooktop at this residence did NOT smell while using. And in our previous residence this Bosch cooktop had zero smell (even when lighting and without a fan running!) Unless Bosch makes this right, with a new cooktop and covers the installation fee, we vehemently do not recommend Bosch cooktops due to health and safety concerns from the noxious/head-ache inducing fumes during use.

I had a Jenn Air 30 inch 4 burner cooktop that had to be replaced. I didn't like the 5 burner options because the burners were crowded and I new I would never be able to use them all at the same time anyway. There were not many 4 burner options in this size. I found this one online and purchased it without seeing it in person. I like the weight of the grates and it cooks well!

Live my Bosch cook top. After years of cooking in electric, I'm really loving the precision of cooking with gas. The quality seems excellent and it's easy to clean. It's also really great looking too.

We like this cooktop very much. It looks nice and it is designed well for space between burners. We are impressed at how roomy it seems compared to the cook top we had before. The burners ignite quickly and burn clean and even. It is made with high quality materials and nice grates. The one downer is the small burner is sometimes too much even at its lowest setting and with the oversize burner top that is supposed to help decrease and dissipate the flame. I read the book and there doesn't seem to be any flame adjustment which our last cooktop had. We add a metal plate over the burner and that works. Its a small issue and we would buy the cook top again.

I love the design of this unit, and it fits together well with the Bosch oven. The stainless steel is a fine finish, but you realize when handling that the unit has little heft and is little more than a sheet metal box. The necessary crimps in the design give the sheet metal some sturdiness. The cooking grid is indeed hefty, VERY easy to remove for cleaning, and I love the fact that it has good rubber feet to just sit on the countertop without scratching. It lights fast, and the ignition is very reliable.
