We've had the dryer for only a week and a half; it's been used five times on two different cycles (basically cottons and permanent press). It does the job well. The mechanical controls are just what we wanted - very simplistic - no electronics to go wrong. Time will tell if the unit will be reliable. We replaced our 26 years old Hotpoint dryer (which never needed a repair) for this one, and the Hotpoint was running as well as it did when it was brand new. We're hoping that the Whirlpool will be just as reliable; time will tell.

My front loader washing machine died after 6 years. It wasn't cost effective to repair it. I bought a matching whirlpool top loader and this gas dryer, believing it would have a longer life expectancy than the front loader. The dryer is a larger capacity than the washer purchased. What a pleasure! The clothes wash perfectly, and dry with few wrinkles in a very short time. With my old dryer I had to split the load in half to dry, and it took forever. I love this dryer!

This dryer is a wonderful blessing. My clothes are dry to the touch, and the dryer tells me it is finished. The wrinkle guard is one of the many qualities that make me glad I chose whirlpool.

When our 15 year old dryer died, we looked for a new one that was easy to use. This is a simple and very easy to use machine. It has everything you need and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to use it. Plus the capacity is great.

Kind of hard to review something that you have using for only just over a month, so far works great. This unit has old style dials that you turn for different cycles, left or right. Push the signal on off button to start the dryer, only odd thing was no off switch. Only way to stop the dryer is opening the dryer door, when you close the door timer keeps going even though the dryer off, this seems to matter not. Whirlpool Rocks

We bought our Whirlpool dryer about a month ago after our old one (not a whirlpool went out)
I just wanted a basic dryer that could keep up with all the laundry I do with our boys...and this one has been great!! Basic features, gets everything dry the first time. Lots of space!
When our washer goes I'll definitely come back for the matching washer!
Scheduling delivery was also easy through Costco, they installed and took away our old machine all included in the price!
