I purchased a new Amana that is essentially the newer model of my old refrigerator that finally died. Came with the house so not sure on age. Estimate at least 14 years old? The only flaw is the support brackets for shelving which are wider taper towards the back so sometimes items cannot be pushed back as far or far enough to close door.

So happy w/the bottom freezer (two drawers!) and the refrigerator organization too. Plenty of room and flexibility with shelf arrangement and door bin setup. Runs quiet (nearly unheard) and has been the best addition to our kitchen appliances in a long time. So glad we chose this one!

Bought this fridge about a month or so ago, while I'm happy with the fridge and it was much better than my old one, I can't say the same about the place I received it from. However, I like the drawer, wish it came with an icemaker, it stays nice and cold, it has plenty of room, and it's overall a nice fridge.

Loved my first one, bought my second one in March, runs terrifically. First was 16 years old, never a problem, until a bad storm surge took out my new flat screen, my furnace and yes my wonderful Amanda refrigerator. Love this second just as well, did buy the warranty which includes surges as it happens so often in my sub. Great product.

Our new fridge has been wonderful, from the bottom drawer freezer to the spacious compartments on the door, to the clear drawers and shelves in the refrigerator. It looks great in our kitchen and up-to-date with our other appliances.

Bought this again because I really like the one I had 10 years ago. The produce drawers are smaller, can't easily get celery in there, even diagonally. Door compartments are wider now, therefore inner drawers are shorter. Other than that difference from the old model. It's good.

After a year I'm disappointed, initially this fridge was just what I wanted, but it often freezes up and stops cooling, never had this issue with my previous fridge.

With top fridge, at age 78, I just could not bend down and reach to back of lower shelves. Also we had very little freezer space. With the bottom freezer we have much more freezer space, but did sacrifice some refrigerated space. It was time for me to condense some of those items.

Delivered with missing hinge cover, tech came today to replace but could not since installers left it with broken screw. Came with screws that were uneven and sharpe edges protruding from top.

We bought the fridge 3 wks ago.The fridge part is so versatile it allowed us to set it up almost exactly as the old fridge. We really liked the previous layout as it worked really efficiently for us and now we have it again. The pull-out freezer drawer makes locating items in the freezer easy and saves my back at the same time. I'm glad we made the purchase.

Twenty years ago I bought this same refrigerator. When it finally quit working last month, I bought another one. Just love these fridges, especially the bottom freezer! Other brands use a door on the bottom freezer where Amana use a pull-out drawer which is so much better. I'm 71 now and this will most likely be the last fridge I"ll have to buy. THANKS AMANA

This is a great fridge for a tight space. Love the adjustable shelves inside and also on the door. Still unsure of the pull out freezer. Think i prefer my original swing bottom door fridge. Overall tho a good fridge, quite satisfied so far.

This model doesn't provide near enough room for a two person household that loves to cook. The choices available for spacing the shelves makes no sense. The bottom freezer looks big but because of the dividers that cannot be removed, a person has very limited room. For the price paid for this unit, the value is terrible. The only reason I chose this one is because my current unit failed and I needed a new one that day, this happened to be in stock.

Bought this last month. Had to call the place I bought it. They called Amana for me and will be sending out appliance repair. Less than a month and now it is leaking all on my kitchen floor. The bottom of the freezer is covered in ice and every couple of days I have water on my kitchen floor. Very disappointing.
I have two other Amana refrigerators which are great and the the reason I bought this one.

The space we have for a fridge is limited unless we want to redo our cupboards, which we don't want to do. This fridge is the perfect size and I love it. I have never had a freezer on the bottom and it is one of the best features. There is plenty of room in the fridge and I am very happy with it.

I needed a specific size refrigerator to fit into the alcove in our galley kitchen. This 29-in wide bottom freezer refrig was just what I needed. It runs so quietly. The interior has multiple drawers to keep meats and vegetables fresh.

We love the bright roomy interior. Having the freezer on the bottom makes it much easier to reach things in the refrigerator; and as we are in the frig more than the freezer, this is very helpful. I love the bigger shelf on the door to hold gallons too.

This refrigerator is almost exactly the same volume as the old one, but the 'fridge part is much bigger and user friendly. I look forward also to seeing the lower electric bills. The freezer is fine, but it is not tremendous and isn't the most user friendly. There's not an obvious spot for things like ice trays, for example. We've had to be slightly more strategic with freezer space, but since most of us are vegetarian, this is not an issue. I live in a house with three adult residents who usually have 1-3 visitors pretty much every night. I would estimate that this fridge supports four breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners on an average day.

My Big Chill in Jadite Green is the focal point of our kitchen. It is roomy, lots of room to store everything, shelves are easily arranged. I have never had the freezer on the bottom before and it is great. food stays organized with the sliding bins and nothing gets lost. I have wanted this frig for several years, and I absolutely love it!

This replaced our old refrigerator which broke down. We love the bottom freezer feature, which makes reaching into the refrigerator section much easier. Works great, the only downside is when the freezer runs it makes a constant "cracking" type noise that is annoying.

I bought this through a local family-owned store after failing to find a model that was under 68" tall to fit in the space in my new condo. My previous bottom freezer fridge was an Amana and was still going strong after 16 years in the house I had just sold. I wish Amana had continued with a freezer model with a door that opens instead of a drawer but was delighted to find this model. It has enough space for me--I am retired, single but still enjoy cooking.

We owned a very similar version of this model for 18 years, and it performed flawlessly. But, as we got older, we realized the bottom door freezer was becoming difficult to access easily on knees that were not as supple as they once were. Along comes the same refrigerator, with the same features, but with the newer bottom DRAWER freezer. How is that for progress? It is exactly what we needed!~ Thanks, Amana!

I love my freezer on the bottom Amana. No more bending over to look for food. It's all right there in plain view. And the freezer, just pull out the drawer and reach in to get what I want. The shelf also just pulls out. I also love the halve-shelves that can be adjusted. Three bins and plenty of door storage. Too get what I wanted, I was even willing to pay the higher price.

My wife is very happy with our purchase of our Amana Refrigerator....and when my wife is happy,I'm happy. We find the bottom freezer and the refrigerator more accessible and handy and with plenty of storage. This is a great feature for Senior Citizens like us. Also impressed with how tightly the doors close. Have seen a reduction in our electric bill which is another plus.We made an excellent choice.

It has taken me several years to chose a new refrigerator. I knew my old one was chewing up electricity. Finally I worked with Express Appliances on Pine St, Burlington, VT. and splurged and bought what they recommended. I love having the freezer as a drawer, and all the rest of the food on top, with so much more room that I had before, though both frigs take up the same space in my kitchen.

I bought this a few months ago and really like it. The size is a bit smaller which makes it very energy efficient but it still seems really roomy. I love the bottom freezer drawer and the sliding out basket drawers.
